Hi all!

When we look over the members survey, especially the section which asks you to look at your progress there were a couple of areas that a few people highlighted as being a bit tricky.

To help you with those we have listed them below along with some resources that might help.

"We have made performance against the Mindful Business Charter / responsible business a priority standing agenda item for all client and supplier relationship review meetings"

"Our people ask for and provide feedback to others on Charter behaviours on a regular basis"

"We include working hours / availability as part of our email signatures, so people are aware of each others’ working patterns"

  • To help look at email use and signatures, it may be useful to watch the Insight Session with Epigram where they gave a case study on implementing the smart meetings and communications pillar. Alternatively, both Lloyds and Mathesons have shared their email etiquette guidance, which may provide some ideas as well.

It may be that you want to speak to us or to the community to get more support to implement the MBC, which is great, and there are a couple of ways you can do that.

  • The MBC Forum – where you can ask questions (and help others out with answers!) to all things MBC - so please don't be shy and get involved!
  • We also hold drop-in surgery sessions for members, hosted by the executive team, where you are welcome to come along, ask any questions you might have, share where you are not doing as much as you might like to be and work out ideas and solutions. The next one is on September 8th 16:00 (GMT) and you can attend by clicking this link, or by emailing info@mindfulbusinesscharter.com to be added to the calendar invite.
  • Alternatively, if you would like to speak to the executive team privately, please feel free to email us to make arrangements.
