Technology is of course intrinsic to nearly every aspect of our working lives. This has only increased with the move to more remote working for many people. Technology is a great enabler but it can also be the cause of, and reinforce, unhealthy and inefficient practices. Much of what the Mindful Business Charter seeks to address is connected, to a greater or lesser degree, to our use of technology. To enable and embed meaningful change we need to look at how we operate and our digital practices are intrinsic to this. Some of the change needs to be systemic and cultural but each one of us can make a meaningful difference to the effectiveness and healthiness of the way in which we work through being more mindful of our digital practices. This session, which is intended for MBC leads in member organisations, will focus on what we need to be doing systemically and culturally to enable people to use their technology safely and effectively and provide practical ideas for creating and sustaining change. It will be led by Laura Willis of digital wellbeing experts Shine Offline
