Hemal Parekh, is an Assistant General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Mastercard, leading a global team of attorneys focused on building, enabling and scaling a broad portfolio of programs, products, services and solutions within the payments sector. He joined Mastercard in 2011 and has a number of senior leadership and management responsibilities within the organisation, including leading various diversity, equity, inclusion and well-being initiatives within the Mastercard Law & Policy team. He also leads implementation of the Mindful Business Charter within the Mastercard Law & Policy function.
Hemal has a particular interest in identifying and solving for behavioural aspects of the Mindful Business Charter in a modern world of hybrid teams operating across multiple markets with different cultures, expectations and ways of working, and is very much looking to leverage his international experience in his role as a trustee.
